Observation: In 2008, Lou Barletta was endorsed by David Duke, a senior member of the KKK’s leadership and anti-colored crusader.

Observation: Wilkes-Barre General Hospital has begun color-coding their charts.  Why? From Hospital Spokesman James McGuire, “Patients with red stickers are unable to leave until they can be pressured to turn over money or a credit card” which basically translates to, “We are holding you prisoner because money is more important to us than your health.”

Observation: Pat Toomey, strong bull of a man that he is, is calling Joe Sestak a namby-pamby wussy.  That’s right.  Toomey says that Sestak’s request that political ads full of lies be pulled down is just hypersensitivity. Yes, it’s being too sensitive to dislike lies on TV.  Pff.  Boohoo.  Truth is for wimps.  Maybe that’ll be Toomey’s campaign slogan?

Observation: John Micek over at Capitol Ideas (a Harrisburg blog) has tracked down the company Tom Corbett cited when he said that unemployed people love not having jobs and being unable to pay bills.  It turns out that Corbett’s assertions weren’t true.  The company, the Warrell Corporation, told a different story.  They’re not having trouble hiring.  Oops!  Corbett lied to suit a political agenda.  Who would’ve thought?

Observation: If an individual turns down employment, they lose unemployment benefits.  Corbett’s point, if it can be called that, makes even less sense.
